The Bombay High Court has asked the various academic boards to send a std. For students of 10, they will consider making mathematics an alternative subject, which gives them inspiration for arts and other vocational courses without studying mathematics. According to the court, there are other courses except mathematics in which the student can easily graduate and pursue his career. The court has asked the states to look into the education boards.

Judge v. like this. Kanade and A. like this. Instead, the suggestion was made during a hearing on the application of chief psychiatrist Harish Shetty. The application has raised the issue of students' ability to learn at school level and steps taken by educational boards to help those students.

The court observed that std. Many students leave the study because 10 can not pass mathematics and language exams. Judge Kanade, who is hearing, said, "There is no need for topics like Mathematics at the graduate level in arts and other vocational courses. Students will be able to complete their graduate studies if they have the option of getting rid of the study of maths. '

Justice Kanade said that 'Maharashtra State Board has been working on a successful system for many years in which students who have passed with seven or eight subjects without mathematics could also apply in degree courses.
