The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

NEET Result 2020 Download NEET Merit 2020 NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (UG) 2020 (NEET (UG) - 2020) will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.

Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 provides for holding of a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions including those governed under any other law. Thus, the admission to MBBS course in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions will be made through NEET. The eligibility criteria applicable to appear in NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to the candidates desirous to take admission to INIs like AIIMS.

NEET 2020

The NEET (UG) - 2020 will be conducted on Sunday, the 13th September, 2020. The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and for providing an “All India Rank Merit List” to the Directorate General Health Service, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for providing the result to States/other Counselling Authorities.

  • Candidates must exercise option of question paper medium wisely as it cannot be changed later.

  • Can a student who has studied from an open school apply for NEET 2020?
As per official NEET UG 2020 notification, open school students cannot appear in NEET.

  • What is the minimum percentage required to appear for NEET exam?
For SC, ST and OBC category marks requirement is 40%. For candidates with loco-motor disability of lower limbs, minimum of 45% marks for Gen-PH, 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/OBC-PH are required.

  • If I am pursuing class 12 exam in the year 2020, am I eligible to apply?

NEET 2020 Admit card

The NTA will issue Admit Cards of NEET (UG) 2020 on the Board’s website at www.ntaneet.nic.in.  You should be able to download the hall ticket by 1st week of April 2019. NTA does not send any individual intimation or send the admit card by post. Candidates must check their Roll number, name, father’s name, category, sub-category, photograph, signature, date of birth, language of question paper with name and address of examination center .
